In Thursday's league battle, the host Tolman Tigers volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Central Knights.

The Tigers (2-14) will now prepare for their battle against East Providence (East Providence, RI). The Townies come into the Division 2 contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, East Providence tipped Toll Gate (Warwick, RI), 3-0, in a league contest.

With the loss, Central drops to 2-14 on the campaign. The Knights host West Warwick (West Warwick, RI) to battle the Wizards in a Division 2 contest on Wednesday, May 25. The Wizards come into the contest with a record of 8-6.
