Illinois High School Volleyball - Metea Valley over Naperville Central

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL) and the visiting Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL), saw Metea Valley's volleyball squad beat Naperville Central by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Metea Valley upgrades its record to 26-9 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Illinois Math & Science (Aurora, IL) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Monday, May 23. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 7-10. Illinois Math & Science lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Timothy Christian (Elmhurst, IL)

The Redhawks now own a 8-26 record. They play next when they travel to Oswego East for a non-league bout on Monday, May 23. Naperville Central will play a Wolves squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Minooka (Minooka, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 19-16.
