Big Sky Eagles (Missoula, MT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Flathead Braves/Bravettes (Kalispell, MT), 19-7 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 8-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Capital for a AA Western challenge on Saturday, May 21. Big Sky will battle a Bruins squad coming off a 10-1 league win over Helena (Helena, MT). The Bruins record now stands at 15-3.

With the loss, Flathead falls to 3-16 on the campaign. The Braves/bravettes travel to Butte (Butte, MT) to battle the Bulldogs in a AA Western challenge on Monday, May 23. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 8-13. Butte lost 12-5 in their recent league challenge against Glacier (Kalispell, MT)
