Alaska High School Softball - Colony nudges Homer

Colony Knights (Palmer, AK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Homer Mariners (Homer, AK), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 30-4 record. They take the field next when they host Chugiak for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 20. Colony will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 11-3 league win over Eagle River (Eagle River, AK). The Mustangs record now stands at 19-6.

With the loss, Homer falls to 11-18 on the campaign. The Mariners travel to Dimond (Anchorage, AK) to battle the Lynx in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 20. The Lynx enter the challenge with a record of 10-6. Dimond won 7-6 in their recent league challenge against Chugiak (Chugiak, AK)
