In Thursday's non-league contest, the Newmarket Mules (Newmarket, NH) softball team held off the visiting Franklin Tornadoes (Franklin, NH), by a margin of 1-0.
With the triumph, Newmarket moves its record to 16-0 on the year. The Mules host Wilton-Lyndeborough (Wilton, NH) to play the Warriors in a Division IV contest on Monday, May 23. The Warriors come into the contest with a record of 2-11.
In their next game, the Tornadoes play the Farmington Tigers (Farmington, NH) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 23. Franklin will attempt to move on its 0-11 season record.
