Harding Presidents (Bridgeport, CT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Hillhouse Academics (New Haven, CT), 18-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Presidents now sport a 4-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wilbur Cross for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 20. Harding will face a Governors squad coming off a 16-4 non-league loss to Guilford (Guilford, CT). The Governors record now stands at 6-12.

With the loss, Hillhouse falls to 2-15 on the campaign. The Academics host Lauralton Hall (Milford, CT) to face the Crusaders in a Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset challenge on Saturday, May 21. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a record of 9-10. Lauralton Hall lost 1-0 in their recent league challenge against Guilford (Guilford, CT)
