The Quabbin Regional Panthers softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Lunenburg Blue Knights to 6 in the Panthers league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Quabbin Regional moves its record to 7-8 on the year. The Panthers host Oakmont Regional (Ashburnham, MA) to play the Spartans in a Midland-Wachusett C game on Monday, May 23. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 7-6.

In their next game, the Blue Knights play the Fitchburg Red Raiders (Fitchburg, MA) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 23. Lunenburg will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record. The Red Raiders come into the game with a 1-13 record after their 13-10 league loss to Groton-Dunstable (Groton, MA).
