Minuteman Regional Minuteman (Lexington, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Nashoba Valley Tech Vikings (Westford, MA), 17-16 in a non-league challenge.

The Minuteman now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 23. Minuteman Regional will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 22-8 non-league loss to Greater Lawrence Tech (Andover, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-12.

With the loss, Nashoba Valley Tech falls to 11-4 on the campaign. The Vikings host Mystic Valley Regional (Malden, MA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 24. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 10-3.
