Avon Old Farms Beavers (Avon, CT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Choate Rosemary Hall School Wild Boars (Wallingford, CT), 4-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, Avon Old Farms upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Beavers travel to Loomis Chaffee School (Windsor, CT) to battle the Pelicans in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 24. The Pelicans come into the test with a record of 15-4. Loomis Chaffee School won 10-6 in their recent non-league test against Kingswood Oxford (West Hartford, CT)
With the defeat, Choate Rosemary Hall School falls to 12-7 on the season.
