The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL) and the host Coal City Coalers (Coal City, IL), saw Herscher's soccer squad beat Coal City by a margin of 6-2.
The Tigers now sport a 20-2 record. They play next when they travel to Normal University for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 23. Herscher will meet a Pioneers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Williamsville (Williamsville, IL). The Pioneers record now stands at 14-8.
With the loss, Coal City drops to 12-8 on the season.
