Bishop Connolly Cougars (Fall River, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Atlantis (Fall River, MA), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Wareham for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 19. Bishop Connolly will face a Vikings squad coming off a 12-2 league loss to Bourne (Bourne, MA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-13.

With the loss, Atlantis falls to 6-2 on the campaign. The travel to Cape Cod RVT (Harwich, MA) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 23. The Crusaders come into the game with a record of 1-11.
