The East Thunderbirds (Cheyenne, WY) softball nipped the host Campbell County Camels (Gillette, WY), 8-7 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Thunderbirds (20-6) will now prepare for their bout against Thunder Basin (Gillette, WY). The Bolts go into the non-league bout with a 19-4 record. In their last bout, Thunder Basin held off Rock Springs (Rock Springs, WY), 15-5, in a non-league bout.
