The Northview Wildcats softball team scored 22 runs and limited the visiting West Ottawa Panthers to 9 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Northview moves its record to 19-12 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Lowell (Lowell, MI) to clash with the Red Arrows in a Ottawa-Kent - White game on Monday, May 22. The Red Arrows come into the game with a record of 10-4.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Rockford Rams (Rockford, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Red game, on Tuesday, May 23. West Ottawa will attempt to move on its 6-20 season record. The Rams come into the game with a 10-4 record after their 9-4 league loss to Grandville (Grandville, MI).
