In Monday's non-league game, the host Avon Falcons baseball team scored a nice 14-5 win over the Farmington River Hawks.
The Falcons (13-6) will now prepare for their game against Bristol Eastern (Bristol, CT). The Lancers go into the non-league game with a 5-13 record. In their last game, Bristol Eastern was overwhelmed by Conard (West Hartford, CT), 6-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the River Hawks play the Simsbury Trojans (Simsbury, CT) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, May 21. Farmington will attempt to improve on its 11-9 season record. The Trojans go into the game with a 10-7 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Avon (Avon, CT).
