Connecticut High School Baseball - Plainfield defeats Bacon Academy

In Monday's league game, the host Plainfield Panthers baseball team scored a close 8-1 victory over the Bacon Academy Bobcats.

The Panthers (4-12) will now prepare for their game against Killingly (Killingly, CT). The Redmen enter the non-league game with a 11-3 record. In their last game, Killingly held off St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT), 6-1, in a league game.

Next, the Bobcats face the Griswold Wolverines (Griswold, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut - Division III game, on Tuesday, May 20. Bacon Academy will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record.
