The Rails (12-6) will now prepare for their battle against Hermantown (Hermantown, MN). The Hawks enter the Lake Superior battle with a 8-8 record. In their last battle, Hermantown was overwhelmed by Chisago Lakes Area (Lindstrom, MN), 12-11, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Thunderhawks face the Proctor Rails (Proctor, MN) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 19. Grand Rapids will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Rails enter the battle with a 10-6 record after their 7-3 league loss to Cloquet (Cloquet, MN).
