In Monday's non-league game, the host Skaneateles Lakers baseball team scored a close 8-6 victory over the Homer Trojans.

The Lakers (8-6) will now prepare for their game against Phoenix (Phoenix, NY). The Firebirds enter the Section 3 Liberty 2 game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Phoenix held off Mexico (Mexico, NY), 3-1, in a league game.
