The Hurley Northstars baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Wright Red Devils to 2 in the Northstars non-league win on Monday.

The Northstars now own a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they host Northland Pines for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 20. Hurley will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Chequamegon (Park Falls, WI). The Eagles record now stands at 9-6.

With the defeat, Wright drops to 11-13 on the year. The Red devils travel to Ontonagon (Ontonagon, MI) to clash with the Gladiators in a Copper Mountain test on Tuesday, May 20. The Gladiators go into the test with a record of 3-1. Ontonagon won 11-9 in their recent league test against Lake Linden-Hubbell (Lake Linden, MI)
