Fans at Monday's league battle between the Woodhaven Warriors (Brownstown, MI) and the host Roosevelt Bears (Wyandotte, MI), saw Woodhaven's soccer squad triumph over Roosevelt by a count of 5-0.

The Warriors (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against Taylor (Taylor, MI). The Griffins enter the Downriver battle with a 1-12 record.

Next up, the Bears battle the Lincoln Park Railsplitters (Lincoln Park, MI) in a Downriver battle, on Wednesday, May 21. Roosevelt will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Railsplitters enter the battle with a 3-10 record after their 2-1 league loss to Anderson (Southgate, MI).
