Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) and the host Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA), saw Albemarle's soccer squad triumph over Louisa County by a count of 7-0.

The Patriots (14-2) will now prepare for their battle against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Warriors enter the non-league battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, Western Albemarle was overwhelmed by Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA), 1-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Lions battle the Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 22. Louisa County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-16 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 5-7 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA).
