The Messalonskee Eagles lacrosse squad scored 24 points and limited the visiting Hampden Broncos to 0 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.

The Eagles now hold a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Blue for a Class B challenge on Friday, May 23. Messalonskee will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 9-8 non-league win over Edward Little (Auburn, ME). The Cougars record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Hampden falls to 0-6 on the year. The Broncos travel to John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 21. The Crusaders go into the challenge with a record of 1-4. John Bapst Memorial lost 11-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Cony (Augusta, ME)
