The West Essex Knights lacrosse squad scored 12 points and limited the visiting Montclair Kimberley Academy Cougars to 11 in the Knights league triumph on Monday.

The Knights now own a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madison for a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 20. West Essex will face a Dodgers squad coming off a 10-9 league loss to Montclair Kimberley Academy (Montclair, NJ). The Dodgers record now stands at 7-9.

With the loss, Montclair Kimberley Academy falls to 10-6 on the year. The Cougars host Columbia (Maplewood, NJ) to face the Cougars in a Bianchi outing on Tuesday, May 20. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 3-11. Columbia lost 10-9 in their recent league outing against St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City, NJ)
