The Barneveld Eagles triumphed over the host River Ridge Timberwolves softball squad by a count of 14-4 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 22. Barneveld will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Pointers enter the challenge with a 18-5 record after their 13-6 league win over Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI).
The Timberwolves (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Belmont (Belmont, WI). The Braves enter the Six Rivers - Western challenge with a 12-2 record. In their last challenge, Belmont overcame Pecatonica (Blanchardville, WI), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
