New York High School Softball - Chester held off by Beacon

In Monday's non-league test, the Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY) softball squad got by the visiting Chester Hambletonians (Chester, NY), by a tally of 7-6.
Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Liberty Indians (Liberty, NY) in a Orange County Division III test, on Tuesday, May 20. Beacon will attempt to advance on its 3-11 season record. The Indians go into the test with a 1-11 record after their 12-6 league loss to Beacon (Beacon, NY).
The Hambletonians (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Wallkill (Wallkill, NY). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 14-2 record. In their last test, Wallkill held off Red Hook (Red Hook, NY), 3-1, in a league test.
