Michigan High School Softball - Grosse Ile succumbs to Riverview

May 19, 2025: Grosse Ile, MI 48138

In Monday's league test, the Riverview Pirates (Riverview, MI) softball squad overwhelmed the host Grosse Ile Red Devils (Grosse Ile, MI), by a tally of 17-2.

Next, the Pirates clash with the Airport Jets (Carleton, MI) in a Huron test, on Wednesday, May 21. Riverview will attempt to advance on its 22-7 season record. The Jets go into the test with a 18-5 record after their 9-2 league win over Milan (Milan, MI).

The Red Devils (5-17) will now prepare for their test against St. Mary Catholic Central (Monroe, MI). The Falcons/Kestrels go into the Huron test with a 14-4 record. In their last test, St. Mary Catholic Central was routed by Flat Rock (Flat Rock, MI), 7-2, in a league test.
