In Monday's non-league match, the host Ocean Township Spartans softball team scored a nice 10-0 victory over the St. Rose Purple Roses.

The Spartans (12-9) will now prepare for their match against Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ). The Bucs go into the Shore - B North match with a 12-11 record. In their last match, Red Bank Regional gained a win over Lacey Township (Lanoka Harbor, NJ), 6-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Purple Roses battle the Toms River South Indians (Toms River, NJ) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, May 20. St. Rose will attempt to better on its 11-8 season record. The Indians go into the match with a 10-13 record after their 6-4 non-league loss to Lacey Township (Lanoka Harbor, NJ).
