The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Providence Pioneers (Clarksville, IN) and the host Southwestern Rebels (Hanover, IN), observed Providence's softball team prevail over Southwestern by a tally of 18-0.

The Pioneers (11-7) will now prepare for their bout against New Washington (New Washington, IN). The Mustangs go into the non-league bout with a 2-11 record. In their last bout, New Washington was routed by Southwestern (Hanover, IN), 17-7, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Rebels clash with the Switzerland County Pacers (Vevay, IN) in a Ohio River Valley bout, on Wednesday, May 21. Southwestern will attempt to advance on its 9-11 season record. The Pacers go into the bout with a 3-13 record after their 15-9 league loss to Jac-Cen-Del (Osgood, IN).
