Connecticut High School Softball - Woodland Regional edges Seymour

May 19, 2025: Beacon Falls, CT 06403

In Monday's non-league match, the host Woodland Regional Hawks softball team scored a tight 5-3 win over the Seymour Wildcats.

The Hawks (19-0) will now prepare for their match against Sheehan (Wallingford, CT). The Titans come into the non-league match with a 6-10 record. In their last match, Sheehan by Mercy (Middletown, CT), 12-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Naugatuck Greyhounds (Naugatuck, CT) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, May 20. Seymour will attempt to better on its 14-4 season record. The Greyhounds come into the match with a 10-10 record after their 7-1 league loss to Holy Cross (Waterbury, CT).
