South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Streamwood Sabres (Streamwood, IL), 16-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, South Elgin upgrades its record to 25-4 on the year. The Storm travel to Bartlett (Bartlett, IL) to play the Hawks in a Upstate Eight game on Thursday, May 22. The Hawks enter the game with a record of 14-10.

The Sabres now own a 3-21 record. They play next when they travel to Hoffman Estates for a non-league game on Monday, May 26. Streamwood will play a Hawks squad coming off a 16-5 non-league win over Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 2-23.
