In Monday's league game, the host Beecher Bobcats baseball team scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Clifton Central Comets.
The Bobcats (14-5) will now prepare for their game against Manteno (Manteno, IL). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 15-4 record. In their last game, Manteno by Peotone (Peotone, IL), 4-3, in a league game.
The Comets (13-6) will now prepare for their game against St. Anne (St. Anne, IL). The Cardinals go into the River Valley game with a 3-11 record.
