The Dan River Wildcats baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Magna Vista Warriors to 3 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Monday.
The Wildcats (7-4) will now prepare for their match against Nelson County (Lovingston, VA). The Governors go into the Dogwood match with a 8-7 record. In their last match, Nelson County was overwhelmed by Chatham (Chatham, VA), 15-3, in a league match.
The Warriors (7-10) will now prepare for their match against Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA). The Trojans go into the Piedmont match with a 10-3 record. In their last match, Tunstall was overwhelmed by Bassett (Bassett, VA), 5-4, in a league match.
