The Mount Desert Island Trojans baseball team (Mount Desert, ME), was overwhelmed 8-0 in Monday's league outing with the host John Bapst Memorial Crusaders (Bangor, ME)
The Crusaders now hold a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maine Central Institute for a non-league outing on Wednesday, May 4. John Bapst Memorial will confront a Huskies team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Maranacook (Readfield, ME). The Huskies record now stands at 3-1.
Next, the Trojans confront the George Stevens Academy Eagles (Blue Hill, ME) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, May 4. Mount Desert Island will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 0-4 record after their 11-3 league loss to Bucksport (Bucksport, ME).
