California High School Baseball - Nevada Union holds off Placer

Spectators at Monday's league battle between the Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) and the host Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA), saw Nevada Union's baseball squad knock off Placer by a count of 9-5.

Coming up next, the Miners play the Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) in a Foothill Valley League battle, on Wednesday, May 4. Nevada Union will attempt to move on its 14-12 season record. The Hillmen enter the battle with a 15-10 record after their 9-5 league loss to Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA).
