The Lowell Red Raiders volleyball team (Lowell, MA), was edged 3-2 in Monday's non-league challenge with the visiting Westford Academy Grey Ghosts (Westford, MA)

The Grey Ghosts (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Newton South (Newton, MA). The Lions come into the Dual County challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Newton South nudged Wayland (Wayland, MA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Red Raiders encounter the Lawrence Lancers (Lawrence, MA) in a Merrimack Valley challenge, on Wednesday, May 4. Lowell will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 3-2 league win over Methuen (Methuen, MA).
