Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI) boosters exited the stadium content Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the host Scituate Spartans (North Scituate, RI), 11-10 in a league battle.

The Chieftains now own a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coventry for a Division 3 match on Thursday, May 5. Ponaganset will play a Oakers team coming off a 6-5 league loss to Johnston (Johnston, RI). The Oakers record now stands at 0-5.

With the defeat, Scituate drops to 3-2 on the season. The Spartans travel to Providence Country Day (East Providence, RI) to play the Knights in a Division 3 match on Friday, May 6. The Knights go into the match with a record of 4-0.
