Next, the Barons confront the Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 6. Bluestone will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 3-2 league loss to Chatham (Chatham, VA).

The Colonels now possess a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dan River for a Dogwood challenge on Wednesday, May 4. Altavista will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 0-0 league Nelson County (Lovingston, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-1.
