The Orange County Fighting Hornets softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Albemarle Patriots to 0 in the Fighting Hornets league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Orange County moves its record to 13-0 on the year. The Fighting Hornets host Louisa County (Mineral, VA) to play the Lions in a Jefferson game on Thursday, May 5. The Lions come into the game with a record of 10-5. Louisa County won 5-0 in their recent league game against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA)

In their next game, the Patriots play the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) in a Jefferson game, on Thursday, May 5. Albemarle will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record.
