The South Elgin Storm softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Bartlett Hawks to 7 in the Storm league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, South Elgin moves its record to 16-4 on the year. The Storm travel to Streamwood (Streamwood, IL) to clash with the Sabres in a Upstate Eight game on Tuesday, May 3. The Sabres come into the game with a record of 1-12. Streamwood lost 18-1 in their recent league game against Glenbard East (Lombard, IL)

Coming up next, the Hawks encounter the Fenton Bison (Bensenville, IL) in a Upstate Eight test, on Tuesday, May 3. Bartlett will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Bison come into the test with a 9-10 record after their 5-1 league loss to West Chicago (West Chicago, IL).
