Beachwood Bison (Beachwood, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hathaway Brown Blazers (Shaker Heights, OH), 14-10 in a non-league challenge.

The Bison now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Hawken for a Chagrin Valley - Chagrin challenge on Tuesday, May 3. Beachwood will battle a Hawks squad coming off a 14-0 league win over Orange (Pepper Pike, OH). The Hawks record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Hathaway Brown falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Blazers host Lutheran West (Rocky River, OH) to battle the Longhorns in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 3. The Longhorns enter the challenge with a record of 3-8. Lutheran West won 15-3 in their recent league challenge against Trinity (Garfield Heights, OH)
