Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Bledsoe County Warriors (Pikeville, TN) and the visiting Marion County Warriors (Jasper, TN), witnessed Bledsoe County's softball squad tip Marion County by a count of 4-3.

The Warriors now sport a 24-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lookout Valley for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 3. Bledsoe County will meet a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Chattanooga Central (Harrison, TN). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 13-15.

With the loss, Marion County moves to 12-9 on the season. The Warriors host Signal Mountain (Signal Mountain, TN) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Thursday, May 5. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 8-9. Signal Mountain lost 6-4 in their recent non-league match against Rhea County (Evensville, TN)
