The Nicholas County Bluejackets softball team (Carlisle, KY), was routed 10-0 in Monday's non-league test with the visiting Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY)

Coming up next, the Colonels encounter the Paris Greyhounds (Paris, KY) in a District 40 test, on Tuesday, May 3. Bourbon County will attempt to improve on its 13-22 season record.

The Bluejackets (10-17) will now prepare for their test against Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Indians come into the non-league test with a 35-6 record. In their last test, Montgomery County overcame George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY), 8-1, in a league test.
