The Hancock County Hornets softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers to 0 in the Hornets league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Hancock County moves its record to 15-2 on the year. The Hornets travel to Grayson County (Leitchfield, KY) to play the Cougars in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 3. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 3-8. Grayson County lost 6-3 in their recent league game against Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY)

In their next game, the Fighting Tigers play the Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY) in a District 11 game, on Tuesday, May 3.
