The Buckeye Valley Barons softball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Grandview Heights Bobcats to 0 in the Barons league triumph on Monday.

Coming up next, the Barons encounter the Bexley Lions (Columbus, OH) in a Mid-State - Ohio test, on Wednesday, May 4. Buckeye Valley will attempt to improve on its 16-2 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 7-7 record after their 6-1 league loss to Worthington Christian (Worthington, OH).

The Bobcats (3-11) will now prepare for their test against Wellington School (Columbus, OH). The Jaguars come into the Mid-State - Ohio test with a 6-8 record. In their last test, Wellington School was routed by Whitehall-Yearling (Whitehall, OH), 10-2, in a league test.
