McHenry Warriors (McHenry, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL), 15-6 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they host Hampshire for a Fox Valley challenge on Tuesday, May 3. McHenry will battle a Whip-Purs squad coming off a 7-5 league loss to Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL). The Whip-Purs record now stands at 8-9.

With the loss, Cary-Grove falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL) to battle the Wolves in a Fox Valley challenge on Tuesday, May 3. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 8-7. Prairie Ridge won 19-15 in their recent league challenge against Jacobs (Algonquin, IL)
