In Monday's non-league contest, the The Pingry School Big Blue (Martinsville, NJ) softball team held off the host Delaware Valley Terriers (Frenchtown, NJ), by a margin of 2-1.
With the triumph, The Pingry School moves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Big Blue host Warren Hills Regional (Washington, NJ) to play the Blue Streaks in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 3. The Blue Streaks come into the contest with a record of 4-7. Warren Hills Regional won 13-5 in their recent league contest against Voorhees (Glen Gardner, NJ)
In their next game, the Terriers play the Somerville Pioneers (Somerville, NJ) in a Skyland - Raritan contest, on Tuesday, May 3. Delaware Valley will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record.
