The Nipmuc Regional Warriors routed the host Douglas Tigers softball squad by a count of 14-2 in Monday's league battle.
The Warriors (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hopedale (Hopedale, MA). The Blue Raiders go into the Dual Valley battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Hopedale topped Blackstone-Millville (Blackstone, MA), 2-1, in a league battle.
The Tigers now sport a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to St. Bernard's Central Catholic for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 3. Douglas will meet a Bernardians squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Mystic Valley Regional (Malden, MA). The Bernardians record now stands at 1-3.
