Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the N.C. School of Science & Math Unicorns (Durham, NC) and the visiting Durham School of the Arts Bulldogs (Durham, NC), witnessed N.C. School of Science & Math's softball squad prevail over Durham School of the Arts by a count of 17-2.

The Unicorns now sport a 3-5 record. They play next when they host East Wake Academy for a Super Six 1A/2A match on Tuesday, May 3. N.C. School of Science & Math will face a Eagles squad coming off a 6-3 league loss to Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, Durham School of the Arts moves to 2-13 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Southern Durham (Durham, NC) to face the Spartans in a Northern Lakes Athletic 2A/3A match on Tuesday, May 3. The Spartans go into the match with a record of 5-7. Southern Durham lost 19-5 in their recent league match against Granville Central (Stem, NC)
