Middletown Blue Raiders (Middletown, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting East Pennsboro Panthers (Enola, PA), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Blue Raiders now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trinity for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 3. Middletown will battle a Shamrocks squad coming off a 16-6 league loss to Harrisburg (Harrisburg, PA). The Shamrocks record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, East Pennsboro falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Annville-Cleona (Annville, PA) to battle the Dutchmen in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 5. The Dutchmen enter the challenge with a record of 12-5. Annville-Cleona won 12-2 in their recent league challenge against Lancaster Catholic (Lancaster, PA)
