The Glenbard South Raiders softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Elgin Maroons to 0 in the Raiders league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Glenbard South improves its record to 6-4 on the year. The Raiders travel to Glenbard East (Lombard, IL) to clash with the Rams in a Upstate Eight game on Tuesday, May 3. The Rams come into the game with a record of 7-12. Glenbard East won 18-1 in their recent league game against Streamwood (Streamwood, IL)

In their next game, the Maroons clash with the Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL) in a Upstate Eight game, on Wednesday, May 4. Elgin will attempt to improve on its 2-15 season record. The Royals come into the game with a 11-5 record after their 17-0 league win over Aurora East (Aurora, IL).
