The Fort Defiance Indians softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Rockbridge County Wildcats to 3 in the Indians non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Fort Defiance improves its record to 14-0 on the year. The Indians host Broadway (Broadway, VA) to clash with the Gobblers in a non-league game on Thursday, May 5. The Gobblers come into the game with a record of 1-9. Broadway lost 13-0 in their recent league game against Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA)

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Parry McCluer Fighting Blues (Buena Vista, VA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 5. Rockbridge County will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Fighting Blues come into the game with a 2-6 record after their 10-0 league win over Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA).
